Glide Investments PTY LTD T/A Glide Group PTY LTD was established in 2020 after absorbing various marine aspects of the Marine repair/refit companies, under ONE centre. Concentrating on Ship Repair companies, Macc Engineering Established in 1976, Hatch and Tank Cleaning, Established in 2013, Construction and Maintenance Established in 2015. While Ship Repairs is the base of our business at Glide Group, we still doing maintenance work but in smaller scale. Glide Group does all types of Ship Repairs.
We have established a reliable and efficient sub-contractor supplier base nationally as well as internationally. All of our welding procedures, welding staff and consumables are IACS (ABS, Llyods and BV) approved. While the majority of our work is what we call “Voyage Repairs” we also do dry docking of vessels, in the Ports of Durban, East London and Cape Town. We have worked in every port in Southern Africa from Cape Town to Maputo and even in Mombasa – Kenya and Mauritius.
